Evans wants to say: ![]() So, I woke up extremely hung over today. Threw a pillow at Lisa for no reason, but she hit me in the head with it, so we're even. That Irish breakfast made everything better. We're heading out into town, Dun Laoreagh or however it's spelled, and probably into Dublin. We found a really, really authentic pub last night. Not that all the other ones didn't count; it's just that this one was only full of locals. It was right next to the Irish Sea, about 2 miles away from our B n B. We met a really nice old couple and they offered to give us a ride home, which was nice, especially since we were slightly inebriated, as you can see from my previous statement about being hung over. Lisa says they were her cousins, since they were O'Briens, and I see no reason to disagree. They drove us past Enya's castle and Bono's mansion. Seriously, the man has a huge house; I wish I could remember it a little more clearly. We're both happy that we got that out of our systems; now we can behave a little more responsibly. (Yeah, right.) We did take some great pictures of the the sea, and the islands, and the ancient forts that are on them. We'll post those later. We were standing on old stone jettys that were covered in moss; it was really beautiful. Locals were fishing off of them, and there was a small rowing crew moving about in the water. This place still rocks really hard. We'll hopefully have more to say later tonight. Take care, everybody.

I've been checking your blog daily and it only serves to make me more impatient to be there at your side... The pictures are an inspiration, and the advice about the currency is well timed. I had Citibank set me up with some euros to arrive with since it's a bank holiday, but not that many... I'd planned packing some hundys for exchange... Now I'll have a wad of twenties instead. James is grinning ear to ear, every time we discuss this trip. I just pray I can do you justice at the celebration... Much Love, Rev. Randy
