WE DID IT!!  We checked out the Cliffs of Moher and realized it just wasn't the right location for a ceremony without being spectacles.  Evans suggested the Aran Islands, so we thought we'd check it out.  Our B&B hostess insisted we take her brother's ferry from Doolin (we were going to take a bit cheaper one) since he knew everyone on Inisheer and could tell us who to talk to, and he did.  As soon as we landed, we knew this was the right place. We went straight to the only Hotel on the isle, talked to the owners daughter, Olive, and had the whole thing set up in FIFTEEN MINUTES!  They arranged for pony-traps, early music, and rooms for us to change in!  Then we took a pony trap (horse and cart) around to check out O'Brien's Castle, and Martin, our driver, made sure on the wedding day I got the small one to ride up with the girls (they were going to send us up in a big one).  It was more fairy-tale-esque than I would've even been comfortable planning, let alone imagining, but WOW, was it BEAUTIFUL!  Jennifer and I arranged all our little bouqets for the girls and ourselves at a WHOPPING price of about 12 American dollars!  We didn't tell our group where we were taking them for the ceremony, just to be at the bus by 9am with a change of clothes and a sense of adventure!  No one knew what to expect, but of course, once we saw the busses with "Aran Islands" posted on the side, we couldn't keep it a secret any longer.  Even KNOWING, though, they had no idea how beautiful the island was and how great the Irish speaking people were (well, except for Ol' Drooly McToothless, maybe).  We were so thrilled we were able to suprise them with this little trip, and everyone had a BLAST!  It was PERFECT!
