Evans wants to say ![]() Well, I found out what the Burren is; turns out it's pretty fascinating (Lisa was right again). It's vast amounts of a limestone shelf created, I don't know, a million years ago, by glaciers. It covers a huge area, and is home to 2/3's of Irelands unique flora and fauna. It's also home to some of the most ancient man-made constructs in the world. The tomb that we saw yesterday, was made in the middle of the stone age, and pre-dates the pyramid of Giza. The tomb is slightly elevated above the surrounding environs, those being a barren landscape of rock and wildflowers. Combine that with a swiftly rolling volumnous grey cloud-cover, and you get a pretty mystical and powerful scene. We're heading out to the cliffs today, and I'm anxious to get there, so I'm making it short today. People should be arriving shortly, hope you're all excited! Evans 2007-05-31 11:55:11 GMT

I am very excited about my upcoming arrival. Thanks for keeping us so well informed and updated. I will be arriving Friday morning about 7:35. I will be getting a car. You can call me on my US cell phone - same number and maybe we can decide when and where to meet. I will be heading to Galway if I do not hear from you. You have my itinerary. See you all soon! mom
