So, I FINALLY have time to actually write in the blog, as I spent over a bazillion hours yesterday trying to fix our links to our uploaded pictures on the web page, until I finally went insane and called my brother Scott in Portland, crying and begging him to help me fix it, which he did, hence the SCOTT RULES picture on the page. And, in case any of you DIDN'T know, my brother Scott does indeed rule, and deserves much kudos for calming me down yesterday from seven thousand miles away. SO, now that the pictures are indeed viewable, check them out at your convenience. Most have captions if you enlarge them that tell a bit more of our adventures than just reading the blog, so I hope everyone thinks that's cool.
THINGS I LOVE ABOUT IRELAND: the air is SO FRESH; I can leave my hair curly/frizzy and I just fit in; the people are SO NICE they just offer to help you with directions or where you should go; the pub food is actually quite fancy in most places; the sun doesn't completely set until after 10 o'clock; the butter is the best butter I have ever had in my whole life; you can't walk ten steps without hitting a pub; and of course, the country is absolutely breathtaking!
THINGS NOT SO GREAT: the toilet flush is quite tricky at times, you have to hit it just right; and last, dealing with free website through yahoo geocities at an internet cafe bites the big one. Other than that, no complaints!! Everyone who is coming over, you are in for a GRAND TIME!! Thanks to all who keep checking the blog, we DO get a kick out of comments, and it is easier to respond to then individual emails! LOVE TO ALL!! Lisa
