This is a test post.



Tonight at the Restaurant Where I Work^(TM), we're starting a new summer special. It's a "Build-Your-Own-Sundae Bar". We fetch the ice cream, and the customers get to wander up to our salad bar, where there will be sundae things instead of salad things, and top their ice cream however they like.

     I predict chaos.

     It's not a bad idea, and I'm hoping it works out well, but I expect that, like every other thing we've tried, it'll be poorly executed. The Boss won't order in enough ice cream and/or toppings, the Owners won't advertise, and keeping it organized, neat, and tidy will fall to me, who is already over-worked and underpaid. I'll also have to clean up after it. Great.

     If nothing else, I'm hoping that it makes our summer dessert rushes easier. If I get that much out of it, I'll be a happy camper. I'm not going to hold my breath, though.
