Today's stock pick is FairPoint Communications (FRP).  I chose them because they have a sick dividend and a totally ludicrous ROE.  However, something may be wrong with them behind the scenes.  They declined significantly compared with the S&P today.

As with all other stocks during this trying time, keep an eye out for the market as a whole to improve, and especially watch the stocks that have been severely depressed.  Some of them will bounce back.  FRP may be one of them.
