Stock Pick 1/15/2008: BPT
The market has become a chaotic, shifting sea. In the current situation, rocks of stability are hard to locate. Yesterday the market saw a large overall gain after a couple weeks of closing down, only to have it wiped out by great losses today. I'm picking BPT today because of its 15% dividend. Because of the new year, cash flow comparisons have changed. Even though the listed TTM cash flow is much less than the dividend, the 790.4% ROE and the 99% profit margin speak of a sustainable dividend. BPT's market cap is $1.74B and its average daily trading volume is 1,550 shares, at a current price of $78.46 per share. Right now, in this current market, I think BPT could be a winner. 2008-01-15 23:58:10 GMT
