Stock Pick 1/2/2008: CRFT
Today's pick is Craftmade International (CRFT). I like this stock's fundamentals. It has a few numbers that are weaker than those of an ideal buy, but I think its strengths cover its weaknesses. Right now, this stock is cheap. With a strong dividend and a low average price ratio, this stock is much more likely to gain value than to lose it. Also, the return on equity is 27.2%, which is typically a strong value. CRFT is a microcap, less than $100M strong in market position. Right now, they are acquiring another company, namely Woodard LLC. I think this is a good time to buy Craftmade stock. The expenditure of funds required to purchase Woodard has depressed CRFT's price per share, but it's going to go back up in the coming months. 2008-01-03 04:39:55 GMT
