I'm posting Saturday's pick on Friday, since I am going to be on the train for 19 hours.  Based on how good the ride is, I may change my mind about AmTrak stock :)

For today, 12/8/2007, the pick is Frontline Ltd (FRO).  FRO is a shipping company with a sizeable dividend.  Management effectiveness, profitability, valuation ratios, dividend yield...no matter what you look at, it's excellent.  Frontline is a good long term investment, but it's also almost a small cap, so it has both angles covered.  I foresee no way to lose with this company.
