Hello and welcome to The Casual Investor blog!  My name is Cory Redfern, and I am not a multimillionaire.  Nevertheless, I've been investing since January of 2006 and doing pretty decent in the stock market.  And hey, if I can do it, anyone can do it.  After all, I was earning $6.65/hr at Wendy's and living with the folks when I got started.

So here's how this blog is going to work: I'm going to post about one stock every day.  Also, I'll post investing strategy articles from time to time.

In addition to the material I will provide, I am going to start running a variety of investing contests.  These will provide contestants with a set amount of play money and real-money prizes will be awarded to the winners.

Bottom line: I'm going to provide information on how to invest with limited capital, and through the contests, you'll be provided with extra capital.  Sounds like a good deal, right?  It is.
