If you are in the surroundings of the Porta Pia (Via Nomentana) try this small family owned restaurant.  Service is great and the food is excellent. Prices are moderate to expensive, but it is worth every penny! Complete servings for two including a bottle of Italian wine and tip was close to 50 euros.
