Random thoughts about, life, the universe... and other strangeness.
News Crew under fire, Cameraman and Soundman die.
This particular story hits me almost where I live, day in, day out, week in, week out.  It is never nice to hear about the deaths of any soldier involved in combat situations.  But when the death is of a non-combatant, someone who is just reporting on it, and doing their job, well, that is truly regretful.

The attack on a CBS News crew, in Central Baghdad, who were embedded with US military, reminds me of the deaths of NBC News correspondent David Bloom, and ITN correspondent Terry Lloyd 3 years ago now.  They were embedded too.

You may think that we as bloggers are different from the reporters who risk their lives to bring coverage of the world's news to our screens and our desktops.  The only real difference between us, is that they are assigned to report stories and we bloggers choose what to report.

My thoughts and feelings are with the families of Kimberly Dozier, Paul Douglas and James Brolan.  I may never have met any of you in person, but we all share the same objective, to bring the truth to the world.

Rest In Peace, James Brolan and Paul Douglas.
