Hot Air and Ungraciousness from Michelle Malkin.
On the June 21st edition of "Vent", Michelle Malkin commented on the departure from CBS of anchor Dan Rather, and on the departure from MSNBC of his former co-anchor, Connie Chung.
Now, it would have been nice for Michelle to show some humuility and grace to a legendary American television news anchor. Unfortunately, nothing of the sort, was forthcoming. There was also very little grace displayed by Michelle about fellow Asian-American personality, Connie Chung. Okay, Chung's 'singing' at the end of her weekend MSNBC show she co-hosted with husband Maury Povich might not have been the best, but it did seem that Michelle treated it seriously, when the whole thing came across to me as one big joke. Still, this is not the first time that Michelle Malkin has seemed to not 'get' something. In a recent edition of MSNBC's Hardball with Chris Matthews, Chris asked his panel of guests, who included Rita Cosby and Tucker Carlson, if they found Ann Coulter attractive. This was obviously a bit of joke question, and the panel's laughter confirmed the idea. Michelle took it seriously. It's also not the first time that she has displayed this kind of obvious bias. as she is also a 'political analyst' for Fox News Channel. However, all Fox News political analysts seem to be cheerleaders for their own parties, no matter which side of the political debate they're on. That is not political analysis. Political analysis is simply providing an unbiased analysis of politics. Yes, unbiased. Simply providing two opposing viewpoints, is hardly analysing anything. 2006-06-22 20:33:43 GMT
