There has been a diametric shift in the philosophy of Car Manufacturers. The industry forecasters predict that over one million fewer new cars will be sold this year. The time where automakers made more cars than they expected the market to bear is over. Automakers used to use over production to force market share from weaker competitors. This year the market is expected to do this on it’s own and the Big Three have cut production to keep their supply more in line with anticipated demand. Now that sounds great, but business will be done differently this year. It will affect the programs that we have throughout the year. There will not be an over abundance of vehicles to move out. This is going to take pressure off of the manufacturers to over incentisize their cars, because they could actually run out of cars if demand exceeds supply.

I am going to be contacting everyone that is coming off their Chrysler Leases earlier than ever before because I believe that lease programs will not get better as the year goes on. I hope that everyone that has one of these leases will heed my advice when I call. Some of you may think of me as a salesman, while others know that I need to do my very best for them in order for me to continually earn their business.
