I went in to see Chris at work, the ladies were all asking about us. So we popped in and surprised him on Wednesday. Chris was so happy to see us and reaches in the vehicle to grab Christian and whisk him off to meet everyone. Before Chris can get through the door a man stops us and asks about Christian, wants to know his name and age, etc. Then he looks at all three of us and says, "Well, he sure got mama's hair." Chris and I looked at each other and laughed, his first mom is actually a redhead. The man did not know he was adopted and so tried to see any resemblence he could. People are funny. I, myself, can see features from my cousins in Christian. Weird.
The three of us went out last evening to a annual fundraiser for the adoption agency we worked with in adopting Christian. We had a wonderful time and met a few other couples who have adopted children. It was nice to talk to others who have been through the process; one couple has already adopted three children and is working on #4! They were very nice and had tons of stories. Baby Christian slept through the entire event. 'Course he kept us up all night when we came home. : )
