Entry for January 30, 2007
Well this Friday I am having Lasik eye surgery. I'm actually having Intralase surgery which is a "bladeless" surgery. I should rest for the weekend, but I'll be back at work on Monday, or so they tell me. I've had glasses since I was in the 2nd grade, so this will be a very strange change for me. I'm sure I'll get quite a few strange looks as well. Kendell told me if I got the surgery, she would go out and buy me my very first pair of sunglassses, so that is pretty darn cool in my book. I'm a bit nervous about the whole thing, but it will be a nice change to live in a world without glasses. I'll update you next week to let you know if I can still see or not...LOL.
