What do you think of our kitchen? Nice eh? Not a lot of food prep going on there for the time being. We've been absent from 'the site' this weekend, seeing some friends, eating and drinking a little too much and indulging in some serious 'Twin Peaks' viewing. Another slice of pie anyone?

Charlie skived off from cosmology in the week in order to remove the chimney breast in the kitchen. Some of the bricks were in good condition so they've been put aside for future use. The broken ones and those covered in old mortar have gone in the skip though. Bec has decided to use Linkabord for her raised beds instead of building them from bricks.

More exciting news... the shed is on order. Need to lay some concrete soon. Unfortunately, the Hibernog is still looking pretty settled. Might have to build it a little house and transplant it complete with bedding to another part of the garden.

We've had some drawings back for the extension to the rear of the house, and after a brief wobble have decided to pursue the full width option. With the existing layout there would be a little over one metre between the units on one side of the kitchen and those on the other. Just going to have to be diplomatic with next door over the wall. Not looking forward to that.
