7:19 a.m. - 2007-07-27

Seen and heard on the way in to work this morning:

A black Mustang with the license plate, "DABIGO." Sadly it was also one of the VA Redskins plates that I covet. And will soon have!

A pick-up truck with one of those extra large all-wood "baby bears climbing a tree stump" sculptures anchored in the bed. I imagine it will go nicely with the "countryfolk bending over" in their front yard.

A strange noise breaking through the babble of my morning show that made me turn the volume down. It was the man in the truck next to me yawning loudly and repeatedly. VERY loudly and almost one yawn on top of another. Um, thanks for sharing, Rip Van Winkle.

"Where does H keep her key to the mapping room?" Me: "On top of the soy sauce in that shallow desk drawer. It's like its little pillow."
