Maria was left once again to manage the tables on her own. Liz left with Max. *As always* Maria didn't see why they didn't become a couple already.
As Maria dashed around taking orders and passing orders out she saw Michael enter. Maria's head swirled around the Crash Down trying to find someone to cover for her. Maria found no one.
Maria walked over to Michael and didn't look into his face. "May I take your order please?
"We have to talk. About you know that kiss and how I reacted to it the next day. I just wanted to say..."
"Your order please?" Maria said cutting him off. Michael and Maria had kissed at the Crash Down cafe. The next day Michael told her it was a BIG mistake and it meant nothing to him when it meant everything to him. Maria had ran home teary eyed and cried. She had vowed never to be hurt like she had been.
"Maria look..."
"No Michael. You look. I HAD feelings for you but you blew them away when you said what you said. So now can I take your order?" Maria still had feelings for Michael. Michael still hadn't seen Maria's face the whole time they were talking. Maria was teary eyed once again. Then Michael spoke....
"Maria please! I have to tell you how I felt about it."
"Michael you told me it was a mistake." Maria looked at Michael for the first time. Maria's eyes were red and she was crying all the time she was talking to him. Michael suddenly felt Maria's pain. He wanted to hell her how he felt to end both of their pain. Maria walked away fast as Michael got up and followed quickly after Maria.
"Maria...Maria listen. I have to tell you how I feel...Maria." Maria had placed her handes over her ears and sang a song loud~*you know like those la la la la I can't hear you songs*~so she could tune Michael out. Few people in the cafe looked but really didn't pay attention. Maria walked into the 'employ's only' room. Michael tried to follow but a cool stopped him.
"Hey...hey buddy this is 'employ's only' can't you read?" The cook said holding Michael back. Michael struggled to get past without using his 'alien'powers. He wasn't very successful.
"Maria...Maria please I love you."
~Part 2~
Suddenly it felt like time stood still. The cook stopped struggling with Michael and Maria stopped struggling with her feelings. It was just those three words that ended her pain and his to.
"Let him go Mac." Maria ordered as Mac let Michael go and went back to cooking. "Michael I don't really have time as you can see to play your games. I'm tired and I don't want to be hurt anymore."
"Maria I know and I'm sorry. I just really didn't want tp admit my true feelings for you. Yet the truth is I...I love you." Maria fell silent once again for a minute then looked up and hugged Michael tightly smiling. "Ugh! Maria honey I can't breathe."
"Oh sorry." Maria said letting go.
"I hope you still have feelings for me."
"You kidding me. I love you." Maria said laughing.
"Come 'mere." Michael hugged Maria and they kissed for the second time. Yet more passoniatly than the first time.
