Michael and Maria are the best couple on Roswell
Summary: AU Fic Michael adopted by a rich family and is very popular at
Roswell high. Football jock. Max and Isabel are almost the same but Max is
a jock football player too and Isabel is a party chick who is dating bad boy
Alex Whitman who is a party guy too. Maria was adopted too by a rich family.
Liz is the same. Maria and Liz are best friends and they are popular and
they talk to Michael, Max and Isabel but not on a regular basis.

Michael and Maria we're dancing quite awhile when Isabel came up to them.
"Hey it's getting late we should probably go"
"What time is it?" Maria asked.
"It's three" Isabel stated.
"Oh my God three?" Maria exclaimed she had totally lost track of time.
"These things never end" Isabel informed her. She usually left by this time. They went to search for the rest of their friends. They found Alex in a smokers circle amongst other potheads, and Isabel told him it was time to go. Maria noticed Isabel's disapproval of the situation. They all headed towards the parking lot looking for Max and Liz.
"You guys can go wait in the car and me and Maria will go look for them" Michael had wanted Alex to kick back before he passed out.
They were walking around when Maria saw Liz and attached at the mouth was Max.
"Okay kids that quite enough, let's go" Maria had jokes as she played the parent role. They looked her way embarrassed and just followed. Michael dropped Liz, Max, Isabel and Alex at the Evans house, Max wanted to drop Liz home and Alex would usually crash at Isabel's when he was stoned and she wouldn't talk to him the whole night.
Michael was happy to be alone with Maria. He looked over and she had fallen asleep, she looked so beautiful. As he pulled to her front door he got out to open the door for her. "Wake up we're here" he said gently
"Oh" Maria said dazed "I had fun tonight Michael" she said to him as he walked her to her door. "Thank you"
"For what" he began "My reasons for taking you out were purely selfish"
"Oh yeah and how is that?" she replied in a flirtatiously tone.
"I wanted to spend a little more time with you outside of school." He moved closer to her. He leaned in and whispered in her ear "I wanted to be near you" the he kissed her cheek then her lips.
She pulled away in shock to look at him.*Oh no! she didn't want me to do that*
Then she smiled her beautiful smile and he knew he was wrong.
She put her hand on his chest and accepted more of those kisses she had been longing for as he wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her close. Fifteen minutes later..."That was the longest good-bye I've ever gotten"
"Well" Michael said with a smile "I wouldn't mind extending it."
"Neither would I but it's already late. I think the sun's about to come up"
"Can I call you tomorrow" he said still kissing her.
"Oh yes" she said not yet wanting him to go but knowing it was time
"You can call me whenever you want."
"Cool" he said "well I'd better leave while I still can." He turned to leave but returned for one last kiss."I'm happy you came"
"Me too"
"Later" he said and left.
She giggled like a little girl all the way up the stairs.
