Summary: AU Fic Michael adopted by a rich family and is very popular at
Roswell high. Football jock. Max and Isabel are almost the same but Max is
a jock football player too and Isabel is a party chick who is dating bad boy
Alex Whitman who is a party guy too. Maria was adopted too by a rich family.
Liz is the same. Maria and Liz are best friends and they are popular and
they talk to Michael, Max and Isabel but not on a regular basis.

Liz and Max were standing around, not really talking. They were both
normally shy but in this case even more so since they liked one another.
"Max" Liz finally got the courage to speak "Do you wanna dance?"
"Yeah " Max said with excitement in his voice.
She grabbed his hand and he followed her to dance. At first they were nervous then they got comfortable. The music got faster and they got closer. Liz waved her hands in the air and Max pulled her closer with his hands on her hips. They danced for probably a half hour when Max shouted, "Are you hot?"
"What?" It was impossible to hear anything in there. He grabbed her hand and took her outside. "I thought you might want some air"
"Yeah it was getting hot in there" Liz replied meaning more than that.
"You know Liz, I'm really glad you came" He said with difficulty , it had never been easy for him to flirt especially with Liz Parker.
"Yeah so am I" she said with a smile that made his heart melt. And she moved closer to Max, letting him know that he didn't have to be shy around her. "I mean it's nice of Michael to invite me and Maria"
Max wanted her to know that he wanted her there. He couldn't be shy anymore.
"I'm happy he did, I should of asked you myself though, because I really wanted to spend some time with you"
"Really" Liz's face lit up ," you wanted to ask me out?"
"A billion times, a was just afraid that.."
He was cut off by Liz's crushing him with a kiss but he didn't mind one bit.
He kissed back and it was a long kiss that neither of them wanted to end they had both waited too long. As he pulled away to look at her, her eyes were still cloesd and she was in a daze and when she opened her eyes she spoke only one word."Wow" and they smiled and continued getting to know each other.
