Summary: AU Fic Michael adopted by a rich family and is very popular at
Roswell high. Football jock. Max and Isabel are almost the same but Max is
a jock football player too and Isabel is a party chick who is dating bad boy
Alex Whitman who is a party guy too. Maria was adopted too by a rich family.
Liz is the same. Maria and Liz are best friends and they are popular and
they talk to Michael, Max and Isabel but not on a regular basis.

They tried to walk down very cool. When Michael saw Maria his mind went
blank and that "what's up" he was gonna throw out at her was thrown out of
his mind. It was as if she was floating down the stairs to him. When he
realized he was staring he tried to compose himself but it was almost
impossible. Max on the other hand could not be helped.
"You look great, Liz" Max finally found his ability to speak.
"Thanks" Liz replied as she blushed.
Alex and Isabel were about to vomit.
"Hey DeLuca, you look good"
"Thanks Guerin," she'd seen his initial reaction he wasn't fooling anyone.
"Okay" Alex with the ice breaker "let's bounce"
They all hopped into Michael's Cadillac Escalade and headed to the party.

The parking lot, or actually, area, since there was not lot, was packed. Maria and Liz were impressed there were so many people. They'd been to parties but those were nothing in comparison to this. They all got out of the car and headed for the entrance. When they go there, there was a huge line and as Liz and Maria headed for the back they noticed Isabel heading for the front.
"Hey Santi?" She greeted the guy taking the money.
"What's up girl? I was wondering when you were gonna show up"
"Well here I am, so these are my two new friends, this is Maria and Liz"
"Hi" they said in unison.
"So can we get in?"
He gave her a weird look and they both thought he was gonna throw her to the
back of the line.
"Girl for you no charge"
Liz and Maria knew Isabel was popular but she just passed up like 30 people
not to mention the people who hadn't even reached the line yet.
They walked in the building and to their left, right and straight ahead were
tall speakers that had music blasting from them. It was so loud at first but
they got used to it. It was then that Maria noticed the weirdest thing, they
were guys and girls both up against he speakers, some of them climbing them
some sticking there heads in them.
"What are they doing" she shouted in Michael's ear.
He looked to where she was pointing. "They're frying they don't know what their doing. Stay away form them"
Michael grabbed Maria's hand so he didn't lose her and because he wanted to.
A jolt of electricity went through her body when he grabbed her hand.
"Wanna dance?"
"Yeah sure" but then she realized she didn't know if she could dance to this
music it was faster than a lot of other house music she had heard. But she
just decided that she'd just go for it.
Michael, much to her surprise was a really good, dancer but then he had been
to a billion of these things. And Maria surprised herself, she too was real
good.
As Maria was dancing she saw a circle and in the middle was Isabel and some
other girl.
"What are they doing?" Maria asked curious.
"They're battling, Isabel usually wins"
They stood watching on and cheering for their friend who in the end did win.
"I haven't seen Max and Liz since we got here I hope their not lost" Maria
exclaimed realizing they hadn't been around.
They gave each other suspicious looks wondering what their friends were up to.
