Summary: AU Fic Michael adopted by a rich family and is very popular at
Roswell high. Football jock. Max and Isabel are almost the same but Max is
a jock football player too and Isabel is a party chick who is dating bad boy
Alex Whitman who is a party guy too. Maria was adopted too by a rich family.
Liz is the same. Maria and Liz are best friends and they are popular and
they talk to Michael, Max and Isabel but not on a regular basis.

Michael met Maria in the parking lot and they walked hand in hand to their
lockers. "Maria do you wanna go off for lunch with me?" Michael said before leaving
her at her class room.
"Oh I really don't get hungry at lunch."
"So," he said hoping she get the hint. "We don't have to eat anything," he added
that smile that made her knees go weak.
"Oh," she said in realization "I'd love to."
He pulled her close and kissed her goodbye.
The next month they were inseparable. Everyone gossiped about them of course
but at least no one talked shit. Most importantly, they were happy.

"So maria are you and Michael coming to my party?" Isabel asked a stupid
question.
"Isabel, of course girl" she said to her new best friend. They had become so
close. "So where's Alex is he here today?"
A look of disappointment appeared on Isabel, "Yeah but he ran into Yoyo this
morning and left with him"
Isabel hated Yoyo. He was nothing but a punk ass loser in Isabel's mind. All
he did was get high and get everyone els high, including Alex.
"Isabel, I know you and I know you hate what Alex does, why don't you tell him?"
"I don't know how," Isabel was a strong person and it hurt her that she
couldn't talk to Alex of all people she loved and he loved her. They should
be completly honest with each other. "At first it was only once in a while
then it was everyday and now how do I suddenly tell him I have a problem
with it after all this time"
"Because Isabel!" Maria was angry that Alex couldn't see what this was doing
to her, "He should've known that this was a problem because every else
notices your disapproval"
The bell rang just then and Isabel was grateful. She didn't want to deal
with it, but now she realized she had to.
