Summary: AU Fic Michael adopted by a rich family and is very popular at
Roswell high. Football jock. Max and Isabel are almost the same but Max is
a jock football player too and Isabel is a party chick who is dating bad boy
Alex Whitman who is a party guy too. Maria was adopted too by a rich family.
Liz is the same. Maria and Liz are best friends and they are popular and
they talk to Michael, Max and Isabel but not on a regular basis.

"Hey so what are you doing this weekend?" This was the drill on Friday's at
Roswell high, find the parties,"I don't know where's the party?"

"Hey Isabel?" a student called to her as she was passing by.
"Hey Sabrina what's up?" Isabel was possibly the nicest person at Roswell high.
"Nothing much we were wondering about the parties this weekend girl" Isabel
Evans was the girl to ask if you wanted to find a party.
"Here's a flyer" Her boyfriend handed the girl a flyer. "Info lines are up at
9 tomorrow" Alex Whitman randomly passed ut the flyers to various people.
"Thanks alot, Later" The girl left to tell her friends about their plans
for the weekend.
"Hey Alex" Isabel interrupted him from passing the flyer out.
"Yeah babe"
"Why don't you save two for me"
"Why? He asked.
"I want to make sure that Liz Parker and Maria DeLuca get one"
"Again babe every time you try to get them to go and every time they don't"
"But maybe they will eventually, they're nice and they should kick it with us
and have fun sometimes." Just then they walked by.
"Hey Maria!" She called out.
Maria and Liz turned around "Hi Isabel, what's up"
"Well here I wanted to give you this, there's a party on Saturday you should
come."
"Yeah," Liz exclaimed "That's sounds like fun we'll try to go."
"I don't know," Maria said, "It's not really my thing."
"What isn't your thing DeLuca? Socializing?" A voice from behind her said.
She turned to see Michael Guerin. *Damn he's fine*

"Actually Michael socializing with you isn't my thing" She teased.
"Sure sure" He said putting his arm around her shoulders. "You know you want
me"
Max came walking up behind him.
"Hey everyone" He looked towards Liz's direction "Hi Liz"
"Hi Max" she said her heart fluttering.
They all looked at Max who was looking at Liz then at Liz who was looking at
Max.They all tried to contain their laughter
"Yeah anyway we gotta get to class" Maria broke in and dragged Liz away.
"God Max why don't you just ask her out?" Isabel said what everyone was thinking.
"Who?" Max tried to play it off.
"Who?" Michael mocked "Liz Dumbass! You're forever gawking at her and you eat
three meals a day at the crashdown and even when you're not hungry. It's totally obvious she feels the same way "
"She does" his face lit up.
"Damn Max you've got it bad" Alex said chucking.
"Me what about Michael?"
"What about me?" Michael said genuinly confused.
"Maria dumbass!"
"DeLuca? You're crazy. we're just friends" He said trying to make himself believe it he didn't know his attraction to her had been so obvious.
"Yeah so are me and Isabel" Alex added in before him and Isabel left them.

Michael was in English class thinking about the conversation he had with his friends earlier. He had harbored this crush on Maria for a long time. Why didn't he ever pursue it. He wasn't shy he dated girls all the time, never serious but he just hadn't found anyone he wanted to stick around. Well it wasn't like he had major feeling for her he just thought she was hot...., and nice and smart and fun to talk to.
