| To My Darlin , I know you are lonely, The waiting place can be uncaring at times. The seasons seem to change so quickly Yet within the waiting place there is no change. You`ve grown tired of watching lovers in love. "Where are my hands to hold?" you wonder. I too, have been where you are now. This is what I know of the waiting place. You never find yourself there for no reason. Give yourself time to grow. Learn from yourself, laugh at yourself. Figure out just who you are, And just who it is your really searching for. Take heed to those around you; There are lessons to be learned while you are waiting. Then, one day, my beauty The waiting will be over. The hands that you have reached for will comfort you. The love you have dreamed of will no longer be a dream. There will be carriage rides in winter, Honeysuckle bouquets in the spring, Lazy days of summer spent together, And dancing in Autumns fallen leaves. Disappointments will be few and far between, And the love will make the waiting seem lifetimes past. How do I know these things, my love? Because I know you. The love you have to give is far too precious a gift To go on forever ungiven. And you are far too beautiful a person, To go on forever alone. Try not to fret about the waiting place. Isn`t all you`ve ever dreamed of .... Worth the wait? I love you so very much darlin!!! make sure you pay close attention to the last two lines!!! ILYSMIWTTTSY |
