CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT PLAN

Dear Parent(s):

 

I will be your child’s English teacher this semester.  In order to assure your child and child’s peers the excellent educational climate in the classroom that they deserve, I have developed a management plan that will be in effect at all times.

 

Students are expected to abide by all Charleston County and Wando High School policies as stated in the student agenda book.  EACH STUDENT MUST WEAR HER OR HER ID AND CARRY HIS OR HER STUDENT AGENDA BOOK AT ALL TIMES (A student will not be released from class without His or Her student agenda) Also, they must comply with all computer lab rules.  In addition, they must follow these classroom rules.

 

1.      BE PROMPT.  Be in class and ready to work when bell rings.

2.      BE PREPARED!!!  Bring all materials to class AT ALL TIMES.

3.      LISTEN well and follow directions the first time they are given.

4.      RAISE HAND to be recognized before speaking.

5.      BE CONSIDERATE AND RESPECTFUL of each other, the teacher, the substitutes and other’s property

NOTE:  Readmits and early dismissal forms must be obtained before you come to class.   

      

Consequences:

 

            1^st offense                   Warning

            2^nd offense                  Student/Teacher conference

            3^rd offense                  Detention and call to parents

            4^th offense                   Administrative Referral

           

**Please Note:  There is no such thing as having no homework.  There is a standing assignment of reviewing reading assignments and going over notes from class.

In order for this to work, I need your support.  Please discuss this with your child, sign and return the bottom half to me.
