Witch's Herbal
I have recorded in water-color art and written hand, the flora and fauna of a witch's garden. This guide to identifying herbs for healing and ritual has been carefully compiled to bring you the ability to classify herbs for magical uses. I have painted each Herb and flower from actual botanical samples from my Elizabethan Herb garden, this project has taken up most of my evenings last summer but I enjoyed the time it took making sure the herbs are painted with water-colour while they maintain there freshness and magical beauty. I have created this book in the style of the celtic green witch's herbal grimoire, has been carefully researched and designed to resemble the guides that were handpainted and treasured by healers and green witches of the 19th century, many of these handpainted guides today are passed down through families and or located in the archives of museums. This book contains 25 water-colour art prints depicting magical herbs and a brief description of uses in alphabetical order each Herb letter will start a chapter of 10 parchment blank pages for you to add your own magical studies. 100 ivory pages are included with this book which is perfect for recording your own . The cover of the book is hand-crafted from a wood core features a three ring binding system and covered with an herbal printed fabric.
