| You need to find the product that will equal 24 | In this case 12 @ 2 are the solution |
| (X + 2)(X +12) | 2 times 12 = 24 |
| X times X = X squared | So the factored solution of X squared+14X+24 |
| X times 12 = 12X | |
| 2 times X =2x | Is (X + 2)(X + 12) |
