& Subtracting Matrices aka The Big Ragu, Make
that Money!
[9 -7] + [2 17] = [11 10]
[7 25] - [20 & 5] = [-13 20]
Remember to Add and Subract by COLUMN!!!!!!
It was a hot and muggy Saturday morning when the Ragu woke up. He got up, stretched, looked outside and smiled. "I smell money!" he exclaimed. Ragu got dressed, went to the corner of Maddison Ave. and built himself a lemonade/biscut stand. He met alot of interesting people that day. When he went to to Sunset Blvd. a man with a pink hat and two women even aproached him. He said to Ragu, " Boy, you gocha self a mighty fine buisiness for yourself. How old are you son, 12 or 13?" "No sir," replied Ragu with a grin, "I'm 35". "35?!" the man shouted. "Then you should be in the entertainment business like me" said the man proudly. "We'll anyway my investments and I have to go back to work so we'll see you later son. Lets go back to work ladies." and off they went. Before Ragu went home, he recorded all his sells for that day and for the next on a spreadsheet.
To write a matrix for the sale for each day, write out the maxtrix row by
column. To find the difference, subtract the matixs and to add, add the
matixs together. REMEMBER, ADD OR SUBTRACT ROW BY COLUMN!!!!!!
