Relations: a set of ordered pairs.
Function: a special type of relation in which each element of the domain is paired with exactly one element from the range.
1. look at the ordered pairs.
2. state if the ordered pairs are a function
3. the ordered pairs are a function if the element of the domain is pared with exactly one element from the range.
4. Solve
EXAMPLE: Function 11 3 (11,6) (13,4) (34,3)
