An online haven where Grissom Sara Romance is free to flutter ...
By KMnO4 Angel Rating- PG Summary- Sara struggles to understand him... Song by Sarah McLachlan Spend all your time waiting/ for that second chance/ for a break that would make it okay/ there's always one reason/ to feel not good enough/ and it's hard at the end of the day/ I need some distraction/ oh beautiful release/ memory seeps from my veins/ let me be empty/ and weightless and maybe/ I'll find some peace tonight/ She lay face forward on the bed. Screaming inaudibly into her pillow, which was already wet with tears. Empty beer bottles littered the bedroom floor and the phone lay off its cradle. She tried to say comforting things to herself. But everything sounded so hollow. Too false. Too dead. She waited for sleep to come and claim her, but as usual it failed. What can you do? When you tell yourself that you have so much to be thankful for. But its only to hide the fact that all you have, is lacking the one thing you truly want. She lifted her head and looked around her room. Shapes and shadows faded into one big mass. If it was the alcohol finally kicking in, at least a blissful numbness would soon follow. Reaching under the bed she drew out a large leather bound text book. But she refused to let herself open it, or to take out the note she had so carefully pressed within its pages. Not tonight. Why torture herself? To search the sentence and analyse the words, or picture his lips saying them to her face. She would not see that inscription, so foreign and unreadable- .from Grissom .from Grissom .from Grissom |
