| I don't really know what to say about this film, don't get me wrong, it was good but in a sort of not too amazing way. It's basically just a good adventure story about the three soldiers (Clooney, Wahlberg & Ice Cube) who go looking for the gold stolen from Kuwait after the war is over and end up trying to get the innocent civilians over the border to safety after a sudden change of heart (as if). And that's about it really. Spike Jonze is in it as well who is the guy that directed Being John Malkovich and loads of music videos including Sabotage and Da Funk by Daft Punk (the one with the bloke dressed up as a dog). The bit where Clooney explains about what happens when a bullet enters the body is good and the slow motion shoot out was for me the best part of the film . If possible get this film on DVD because ther are loads of extras like the making of documentary, set tour etc. if you're into that sort of stuff. |
