             This should be a lesson to everyone to not see a film because
       of who's in it or who the director is if you know nothing else about
       it.
             Even though Bringing Out The Dead had Nicholas Cage in it
       who I can't stand I expected that a film directed by Martin Scorsese
       would at the very least be watchable. This wasn't. It seemed that it
       was just a series of random events that had been strung together in
       a way that made no sense at all because there was definitely no
       story to it.
             The only saving grace was that John Goodman was in it and that
        it was well shot (the neon lights in the night time scenes looked
       great on DVD) but this wasn't enough to make it good entertainment
       We didn't even finish watching it missing the last three scenes
       thereby taking the risk that the marshmallow man from Ghostbusters
       made a cameo apperance and killed Nicholas Cage by chokeslamming
       him through the roof of his own ambulance so he could never make
       another film again.
