       Written by Steve Martin, Bowfinger is about a director who is trying to get his
    movie Chubby Rain made but his main star won't accept the offer to play the lead
    role. To get round this problem he comes up with the idea of shooting the film with
    him in it but so that he doesn't know he is in it.
       It is a good idea for a movie and it comes off reasonably well with Eddie Murphy
   giving a good performance, but as Gloria Gaynor once sang - it's no Beverly Hills Cop.
   It has it's moments and it is one that I would watch again if it was on T.V.
