| Factual Errors: Sharks cannot swim backwards so it would be impossible for it to repeatedly ram the shark cage the way it does, and to retreat backwards the way it does when Hooper stabs it in the snout. |
| Crew or equipment visible: On the TV/Video version of Chrissie's death scene, a fine wire can be seen connected to the buoy as she is being shaken about by the shark. This was probably used to keep it from drifting out of shot. The wire has been removed on the DVD version. |
