Burdekin Collie kennels was established in 1993 in the regional town of Cowra in central western NSW. Our roots go back to the 1960's with 3 generations of family involvement and commitment to this beautiful breed through the Glenkentray prefix. As do most devoted followers of our breed we owe our qualities and strengths to the fabulous work of our predecessors.  Without the conscientious efforts of these breeders we would not be able to continually reproduce the consistency in type and temperament we have today. Our dogs are reared in a relaxed country environment and enjoy roaming freely in a peaceful, tranquil setting. Though only reasonably young in our development Burdekin has produced over 25 Australian Champions and proudly applaud the Best in Group and Best in Show wins of many of our dogs.  We are fortunate to have also titled 6 dogs to Grand Champion status another feat  which we are extremely proud of here at Burdekin.

 We are also honored to have the opportunity of flying the Burdekin banner in Sydney through the outstanding efforts of Michelle who is taking our success story to yet another level. With continued dedication and devotion to the breed that we love we eagerly look forward to a bright and rewarding future.
