Lettuce
and Pea Salad

1 head iceberg lettuce, cored and
shredded
3 stalks celery, diced
1 bunch green onions, diced
1 can slivered water chestnuts
1 can petite poi peas
Layer in that order ... lettuce on bottom, then celery,
onions, water chestnuts and peas. Sprinkle 2 tbsp sugar
on top, and then cover/spread with 1 cup mayonnaise (NOT
MIRACLE WHIP). Let set all day (or overnight). Toss, and
serve. Yum!
