How do you go on with a broken heart
Where do you hide and how do you start
To go on with your life when its falling apart
Cuz you just lost your best friend

Its was the look in her eyes the smile on her face
The touch of her hand and her warm embrace
That lets you know you're so out of place
How can a love like this end

She said I guess we weren't meant to be
But somehow that don't sit right with me
The love was there, so let me see
I guess we just let it go

Everyone says I just need to move on
But I just sit here singing my song
Just trying to figure out what went wrong
Maybe I'll never know

Life goes on, time for change
Dump the past and then rearrange
Start a new life but it just seems strange
Without her here with me

As time goes by I'll start to heal
Find someone else and begin to feel
But for now this just seems so unreal
I guess that's how it has to be
Can you tell, she meant the world to me

OUR CHILDREN

Our children are our future, our present and our
past. Whatever you teach them now, is forever going
to last. Teach them how to love and that there's
nothing they cant do. Teach them how to hate and our
world will be through.
Our children are the key, that will unlock the
door. That will give us all the answers that we've
been looking for. A cure to aids and cancer, they can
surely find. A way to feed the hungry, if we help
open up their minds.
Raise your children well, teach them all you can.
How to be a woman or what it takes to be a man.
Anyone can be a parent, but not a mom or dad. It is
the one true thing, that makes me very sad.
Our children need to learn respect and to hear we
love them everyday. Our future is up to them, but its
up to us to show them the way. Our future's very dim,
but through our children there is light. Lord grant
them the strength and courage to make all our futures
bright.

BELIEVE

You tell me you don't believe in God
but just how that can be
When it was God's good graces that sent your love to me
He does everything with a purpose and we may not understand
But I know he loves us all and holds us all in his hands
He is all around us in everything we do and see
From the mountains to the oceans to a simple leaf upon a tree
Without him we would not be here
without him we would not care
Without him I would not know you or this love we share
Life may not be easy and it maybe full of strife
But it makes us very thankful for the good things in our life
So when you look into my eyes, or hold your children close
Say a prayer to honor us, to the Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
You tell me you don't believe in God
but just how can that be
When it was God's good graces that brought your love to me

I never knew love could be like this, cant hardly wait
till our first kiss.
I think maybe we should be alone, we'll disconnect all
the telephones.
Or maybe we should just run away, why should we care
what they say.
