Moonshadow
by Amy Patrick

Dreams are like a moonshadow
You can't explain them, they are masks covering reality
Pixilated images on my  television mind.

I am looking for a clear vision
by Amy Patrick

20/20
People can't see my dreams, an eclipse over my heart
Strange phenomenon can never be seen
Only believed.

The Revolution will Be Televised
by Amy Patrick

Got a tiger in your tank?
See the USA in a Chevrolet.
You deserve a break today.
Got milk?

A stream of neverending thoughts channel in my mind
People see me and ask about my health
What health? How can one be healthy in a toxic world?
Disease Melancholy Ennui
I am not alone
We are a nation desensitized by the madness we see
but, do we really see it?
It's only TV.

The Rebirth
by Kristy DeVaney

Grated to the pith,
the girl with chestnut hair.
Sour beneath the sweet rind.
Tired of conformity, longing for the sea.
The seasons turn yet again in bond...
Once so close....now distant
The wax and wane of a promise.
Taken with a grain of salt.
Now exposed to the world
She takes on new interests
To fill up with her excess passion.
The chemistry of heat and flour
The people around her
The structure of a trained voice.
