| WHatCORE? records is a DIY Malolos Hardcore label which releases music beyond categorizations. Our main aim is to promote bands with hybrid influences i.e hardcore-punk, hardcore-metal, hardcore-grind, etc. In other terms, CROSSOVERS, in layman's term - TRASH_. It All Started when a bunch of friends started listening to absurd fast music and was later heavily influenced by it. It's the main reason why my band ILL ASKATRACH shifts our sound to skate trash, and my bandmate Pidol to form another band PLAY ( Fast Hardcore ). Now more bands are into this stuff including my new band CERTIFIED IDIOTS (Trashcore ) and a bunch of skate kids FOOLTOYZ ( noisecore) all bands mentioned above are what formed WHatCORE? Records. Just another branch brought about by strong friendship, unity and trust. Now this 3 pillars evolve to be another set of walls in building the Bulacan scene I started selling records of our bands to people with same interest and to those who are newly introduced to this counter culture. Take note: It's all in a DIY manner and not for the money. If I want to be filthy rich I'll get a good profession and a good job. Not a huge hardcore record sales... |
