| Last stop of Blur tour was Pilsen, Czhech Republic. In 1993 this country was still in the proccess of rebuilding. Alot of the buildings were run down, dirty and dungee. Pilsen Urquel at the source is fantastic. Incredible nose, malt and hop flavor and long lingering after taste. Ummm. The brewery tour was a high point, expecially the under ground tunnels, white walls of chalk, over head ammonia pipes for refrideration, with rows of casks of lagering Pilsner Urquel. |

| Saturday breakfast at brewery resturant, followed by the first pints of the origianl pilsner. Great stuff, 500 ml of wonderfull beer, for 60 cents Canadian. We wandered around the down town. Checked out various establishments. Later in the night went to a "happening" night spot. We felt rather old, as most of the patrons looked around 18 years old, baled out of there... Back down town, to an "interesting" club. A couple of the beer tour tourists where keeping track of the pilsner Urquel consumption over the long day from 10 am to 3 am,, 22 pints = 11 liters |

| Check out day. Clayton had made a call home to his girl friend the previous night via Canada direct, which is billed to his home phone number,,, but the hotel said he owed 500 dollars for the phone call. If he didn't pay he wouldn't get his passport back. On his visa it went.... He did get refunded by visa when back in Canada. Most of the weary travelers boarded the train for Germany to either fly back to Canada or spend a few days in Amsterdam, while Poluto and Spilly headed north to Praque | |||||||||||||||
