803-The fear

Dawn is at the school and she has new friends. She's walking in the corridors while sighing. She hardly recovers from her adventure, but she lived quite worse. And then she knows that she can trust her Sister. Her new friend is speaking to her, but she doesn't realy listen . She is in her thoughts. Nostalgia, for the past, she is thinking about  her mother. She is thinking about Spike, his smile. She's also thinking about Anya, her imagination. All these people  lost. Why? They believed being disencumbered of the evil, but the evil is always there in each one of us. She said This sentence aloud without realizing it. Causing in her friend an anxious glance. she raises the corner of her lip and says "Are you alright Dawn ? "

" yes sorry, What did you say? "

Team appartement

 Buffy looks at the job offers, she encircles two of them. One rang at the door. It was Marie who came to have news by pretexting she needs sugar. Buffy opens the door , and leaves her come in. She walks on her mail on the ground without collecting it, and she goes to the kitchen to take the sugar from a wall cupboard. Marie bent down and took the mail in her place. When she seized a large kraftwrap , she has a vision, she sees a  man, Spike geting out from a jewel rested on the ground. Her visions are very fast in a continuous flood of pictures. Each time there is this icy draught, which raises her hair. She joined Buffy in the kitchen and she gives her the mail . Buffy takes it and throw it on the table. Then she says  :

 "You do not really need  sugar? "

" Oups, I am much better medium than actress! I wanted to have news of your sister "

" she is better. Thank you for what you did for us, and to tell the truth I wanted to apologise to have doubted on you "

" Whatever!. So tell me, where do you come from? "

" Sunnydale California "

" the hellmouth  ?"

" How do yo know? "

" In fact I realy think that you are not here by chance."

"What do you mean?"

"Do you beleave on destiny?"

"Sometime I realy think that the word have been created for me"

" My boyfrend and I used to study evil forces. And we  had echoes on what happened there.  It was you, wasn't it? So you are the Slayer."

" I  am no more alone "

After a short silence of meditation respected by his interlocutress. She questions Marie on her capacities

"Are you a kind of witch? "

" No, and to tell the truth I hate them. I do not know how to explain you, but they disturb all. You believe to see something, and witches remove. Somebody dies, and they bring back to life. They change the destiny without never measuring the consequences, and there is something else, that i don't want to talk "

Buffy is disturbed, she wonders whether Marie knows something about her return to  life, but she does not say anything to her.

"Can you see if Xander will find Anya? "

" He already asked to me. I don't think so. My vision are not always under my control. And, I can only see into the soul. The Soul has a story that I read like a book, happyness, sadness, Pain..."

"You should try..."

"I guess no, because as I kow he is trying to find  Demon to bring her back and it's beyond my competences. I can't see Demons, I just can see the danger from them, but not them "

Marie is about to leave, She opens the door, and in front of her, a young man was about to ring. He looks at his finger up close to the bell, and exclaims "waou! I make progress in telepathy "

He is very tall, his long hair is black crow . his eyes are gray. He  tighten his hand towards Buffy and  says

 "hello I am Val"

She just says "Buffy."

Marie explains "He is my boy friend" Buffy look at him, he seems to have pointy ears hidden in his hair. She asks herself, if the ears are parts of some costume, and tells him with a timid smile "You forgot to take off your ears, Legolas..."

He looks at her, spend one moment while asking himself on why she could say that, notes that its glance goes on his ears, and ended up releasing his whole ear while answering her awkwardly

" Ho! that! no, they are true, I am Elfe. We are many in Europe "

Marie asks him" you were looking for me? "

" yes, I found something that I wanted to show you "

Before leaving, Buffy askes a last question to Marie" You really saw a blond man? "

Marie doesn't let her finish and says" The one who IS not, not any more,  yes but some time my vision are so confused". Then she leaves her by making her an pretty smile. Right before getting her home, she turned over and says to her showing her wrist "I borrowed you this bracelet, are you ok with this? "

Buffy does not have time to answer that already Marie closed the door. But that does not seem to annoy her.

Xander arrives with Dawn. Since the event, he have just take her at the end of school. While gettin in the apartment, They ask Buffy why was she on the stage.

 At the same time, In MArie and Val apartment .

Val is astonished "Why didn't you tell her he's still alive? "

" Because today, she realy doesn't want to know". One day She will be ready, and I could tell her, or better, he will tell her himself. "

Somewhere in London.

Giles come in a part where  Willow, Kennedy and Andrew are waiting, sat down around a table. The meeting can start

"As you already know  , we are looking for two slayers  kind different. Spirit and Kain. Willow and Kennedy soon will leave to Brazil to research Kain. A watcher is on the trace of Spirit.

Then he starts to tell them that one more slayer was activated at the time of the fight against the Firtst when Willow required that all the potential ones become slayers ones. Unfortunately, it would have been better than she was not activated. Indeed, she has sudden bad times being child and became... Psychotic. She is called Dana, She is currently interned in a hospital of L.A. Then Giles adds to them that they will intervene at the proper time.

Andrew require  "psychotic slayer? And who will seek her?"

 "You" Giles answers Him with a bit of irony in the voyce.

"Of course it's me...I would  prefer to follow Spirit" - he adds low.

 Kennedy looks at him and points out to him: "to follow her, it would be necessary that you could run."

"Ok!...I am not very strong physically, but I improve myself"

 Giles stop the small quarrel, and adds "We have also news of Buffy, Xander leaves for Africa today."

The airport.

 Buffy Tightens Xander in her arms, Xander makes sign with Dawn to come close to him, and tightens her also very against him. Buffy look at him and tell him that she will  miss him. he offers his most beautiful smile. He leans to take his bag, and  turned over to leave. Suddenly, he releases his bag, that opened by falling on the flour, and sowing all his underwere all around him. he is turned over again, and seems terrorized "I cannot take the plane, It's impossible I always be afraid of planes." then he starts to beat  his head as a autist would do it. While telling "not, not and not I will not take the plane, I should not be forced? "

Buffy and DAwn look at him deafened.

Dawn put a hand on her sister's shoulder, but Buffy is concealed like she could'nt support that, like Dawn's hand burned her. she starts to take the same way of Xander while saying to Dawn "Don't touch me, I don't want anyone to touch me, I don't like that anyone touch me"

Then with the turn of Dawn, she starts to scream after her sister that this one doen't love her, even like her, that she feels so lonely, that she did not want to come to Europe, and the mos important, that the only one who could protect her died. Then she repeats in a ceaseless way "I'm scared, I'm scared, I'm scared? ".

 Buffy stop the ears, seats on the ground by making a movement of rocker of front towards back, without interruption, while xander continuous to turn in round by beating his head.

Our three heroes are victims of a spell who confronts them with their phobias.

 At the same time in her apartment Marie is working on a book, when suddenly, she looks at her wrist the bracelet which she borrowed from Buffy burns her, she rises calls Val "Queek! we need to go to the airport."

 " But Why, What's happening? "

" Do you still have this strange grass, the one  which destroys the primal fears ,you know "

Val opens a curious wall cupboard while simultaneously turning two knobs located at the top of the piece of furniture. The wall cupboard which however did not seem to have any door, deploys  by magic, thus revealing some rack very badly arranged with bottles, bags of grass and a dead mouse realy dry.

Marie asks him by seeing this old dried mouse, "What's this, Do you use magic?"

" I don't think that I ever have any dead animal in that place" Val answers her  with a face of dislike

" Sometimes you despairs me!! "

Val takes a bag with grass required by MArie inside, carefully trying not to touch the dead mouse.  And his wall cupboard closes again at once, while speaking to  the mouse "I will take care of you later"

 Marie looks at the contents of the bag and exclame. "that's all? Do you smoke it, don't you "

Very constrained Val answers her" NO!! I don't have any more, that 's all "

" Well, I hope that will be enough " They leave.

MArie arrives at the airport, where Buffy, Xander and Dawn are encircled by safety guards.

Marie hold in her closed hand, some dust of the precious grass. She begin to walk to the scared  team, by saying worms as she were in a theatre.

 The safety guards want to stop her, but she says to them, "let me! we finish this scene and we leave"

The guard asks her "Theatre? "

" Yes the troop and myself  think that the public places, are the best places to express our art "

He lets her pass, She comes close to her three friends, looking like she continued with saying  worms, and  breath with each one a little dust in the nose, which deeply makes them sneeze, during a few second. Then they find their normal state in turn and wonders what's goin on.

At once Marie says to them with a contracted smile "Just do like me, greet, do not say anything" then she leans several times ahead, very quickly joined by the trio.

They stupidly smile all while inclining themself, towards a public more than dubitative. One even applause  timid  from a guard towards  all other guards are turned over quickly with incomprehension eyes, which makes him first slow down then  stop his applause. One Guard comes to them and says "Go circulate now".

Marie answers him immediately with softness "Yes, Mister"

Buffy  with Xander and Dawn, come close to her and asks her "What the hell is going on"

"A spell, I don't know who, but there is someone who dosn't realy like you "

"Why?"

"I don't konw, the only think I know is that I was connected to you whith the bracelet. That's why I saw..."

Dawn says to her very excited "remind me to give you a lot of stuff from me home..."

Then Buffy seeing the time past, says to xander "Xander you must leave now"

Xander, by getting back his underweres in his case, a bit in trouble to shaw his underpants to the girls, answers:

 "I cannot leave you"

"It's Ok, I'm strong, and then I am not alone, she launches an accessory glance towards Marie" After a last accodance, Xander leaves the departure place, his plane takes off.

 Buffy while looking at the plane of her friend leaving wonder who could  do that to them?

 Somewhere in an unknown place

A part decorated with hangings red where all sizes candles  blaze. A Realy old woman without eyes tightens to a sinister character, a crystal which  red turns to green . He is wearing a hood which prevents us from seeing his face. She says to him: "the spell is broken" he answers very irritated

"You are unable. You  guaranteed it "

" A few minutes more Master and they was alienated, we could get them, I dont know what happened "

The mysterious man throws the crystal by ground and crushs it  with a great blow of hell.
