Buffy walked into the library, as much as it hurt she had to tell Giles about Faith so that she could get some help.

"Giles, Giles, where are you" yelled Buffy

Giles choose that moment to walk out of his office "Uh yes Buffy what can I do for you"

"Giles it's about Faith oh god she was the one that killed the Mayor's assistant we have to do something" said Buffy

"Yes quite right we can't have a renegade Slayer on the loose I'm sorry." answered Giles

"Giles what are you tal---Oh what the--" said Buffy falling unconscious to the ground from the three tranquilizers darts that Wesley shot into her leg.

Moments later a chained Buffy is placed into the back of a van by six large watcher.

"What will happen to her now?" ask Faith

"She will face the judgment of the council be striped of her powers and terminated for murdering one of those that she was swore to protect." answered Wesley.

As Giles and the rest watched the van drive off they missed the smile on Faith's face. < Bye B better you then me >

"Giles I still can't believe that Buffy would do something like that." said Willow tears running down her face.

"Yes it's hard to believe but when Faith brought me Buffy's favorite stake covered in Human blood I had no Choice. Come on lets get back to the library we still have to try and find out who is leading the vampires now." said Giles

The van with Buffy was just passing the welcome to Sunnydale sign when the front was riddled with bullet holes Welsey coward against the back front of the van as the back doors where blown open.

"Get rid of the Watcher." Said Mr. Trick as he stepped up to a struggling Buffy.

"Well well Slayer it's your lucky day my boss wants to make you a deal." Said Mr. Trick as he carried Buffy out of the van.

Later Buffy awakes to find her self in a very large bed covered with silk sheets just then the door opens and a young servant girl walks in carrying a large tray filled with Buffy's favorite foods.

"Oh you're awake." Said the young girl placing the tray down next to Buffy "I'll prepare your bath while you eat then the Mayor will see you"

Buffy figure that she might as well play along so she walks into the bathroom and stand stunned at the sight before her she was expecting a regular bath tub. But there in the middle of the room was a raised tub in the floor that look like something that you would see a queen bathing in. She quickly removed her clothes and stepped into the bath sighing as the warm water closed over her body.

After what seem like hour Buffy pulled herself reluctantly from the bath drying herself off she walked into the bed room to find everything she need laid out for her after she had finished dressing the door to her room opened and she was escorted down to the dinning hall.

As Buffy descended the stairs the heads of ever man turned their mouths falling open as they saw Buffy the flowing blue dress that she wore encrusted with diamonds which shinned with every step she took she gave the illusion of a goddess that had descended from the heavens.

"Gentlemen it is my great pleasure to present Miss Buffy Summers." Said Mayor Wilkens

When he held his hand out to Buffy she found herself taking it as if it was second nature to her.

When they had reached the table Mayor Wilkens pulled out a chair for Buffy, who found herself smiling at him.

"Why are you being so nice to me?" asked Buffy leaning over toward the Mayor

"Because right now you don't have anyone your watcher and so called friends betrayed you. All because they believed Faith over you, I on the other hand look at you and see a very nice young lady who just needs someone to care for her It's my hope that you'll let me be that person, cookie there very good made them myself you never know what they put in those you buy in the store." answered the Mayor holding a chocolate chip cookie out to Buffy

She carefully took the cookie from him after taking a bit she leaned over and kissed his check "I think I'd like that very much Sir." said Buffy

"Why so formal call me Dad?" said the Mayor

"OK D-dad." Said Buffy

While they were eating dinner Buffy found her attention keep coming back to the mayor he didn't seem to be such a bad guy after all he had never meet her but still he believed her. Buffy made her mind up right then that she'd do what ever it took to make sure that nothing happened to him.

"D-dad you should know that the W-watcher and Slayer know about the accession and are looking for ways to stop it." Said Buffy

"Thank you dear, I'm sorry everyone but I must end our dinner early thank you all for coming. Said the mayor

After everyone had left Mayor Wilkins escorted Buffy into his private study. "Honey as my way of saying thanks I want you to join me." Said Mayor Wilkins

"Uh what do you mean Dad?" Asked Buffy realizing that calling him dad was becoming second nature and it felt right.

"Set down Buffy." Said the mayor as he opened a large book in front of him.

As he begin to recite a spell from the book Buffy felt something change within her she felt stronger "What happened?" Asked Buffy looking at the Mayor.

"Well I couldn't have anything happen to my daughter now could I? That was a spell that makes us invincible there is nothing that can hurt or kill us." Answered the Mayor

"Why include me in it?" Asked Buffy

"Because a father should never out live his daughter." answered the Mayor as he leaned over and kisses her forehead. "Now off to bed we have a big day ahead of us in the morning."

Buffy entered her room to see that all her stuff had been brought from her Mom no Joyce's house because as much as it hurt she had to leave that life behind her now. Buffy picked up Mr. Gordo holding him tight as tears begin to flow down her face as she thought of what Faith would do to Willow because she was the only one Buffy still would consider a friend.

Looking out the window towards Willow's house "I swear that I'll find some way to get you away from her Willow no matter who I have to hurt, No one hurts my Willow." It was in that moment that Buffy realized that she loved Willow.
