One More Time, Britney! TV HITS MAGAZINE APRIL 1999 Issue # 128

TV HITS gets down with the all-singing, all-dancing, teen sensation, Britney Spears. Take it away, Britney.

"Baby One More Time isn't the original name of the song, is it?"
Um, no, actually. It was going to be called "Hit Me Baby One More Time". But then they decided just to call it "Baby One More Time".

For obvious reasons, I suppose...
Right, right. I mean, it's so funny what people are like, you know. It doesn't mean physically hit me one more time. It just means give me a sign, you know, hit me with a sign one more time.

With your career taking off, do you think you'll continue with school?
Um, I'm gonna go all the way, yeah. I have one more year left.

What's one CD you've gotta hit PLAY again and go, "Baby, One More Time"!
Oh that's a hard one! Probably Madonna's "Immaculate Collection". It's just like a fun CD.. when you get dressed to go somewhere you just put it in! And she has so many hits!

If you could take one of the Hanson boys out on a date, which one would you ask?
If I had to, probably the middle one 'cause he's so cute. Actually, I take that back! I'd probably take the youngest one.. not because I'd go on like a date- 'cause I might be too old for him- but when I see him in interviews and everything he just seems so live and so happy and funny! Yeah, probably him, 'cause he's so cute!

Are you going to get a tattoo to celebrate being number one in America? That's what pop stars do, right?!
A tattoo? I can't do that! I would probably start crying right there!

You've got a stack of fans out here dying to meet you!
I can't wait till I come overseas and meet them. I love the accents over there- it's really cool! I can't wait to meet them!
