COMMUNITY SUPPORT

Troop 697 supports its Chartering Organization, The Knights of Columbus Council 8600 , with many projects and events through the year to include:

��� Participating in the Knight�s Christmas in April program
��� Picking up litter along Ox Road (Route 123) in Fairfax VA.
��� Unloading Christmas Trees on the Friday after Thanksgiving
��� Decorating and undecorating the Marian House, a halfway house for the mentally handicapped in our region, at Christmas Time.


Troop 697 also supports the Fairfax and Burke communities by:
��� Collecting Food donations during the Boy Scouts Annual Scouting Food Drive in November
���� Setting up grills for the Labor Day Picnic
���� Cleaning up after the St Mary�s annual White Elephant Sale
���� Delivering telephone directories.
