So what's been going on these past couple days/weeks... Leeb got a one game suspension for an elbowing and he was leading the ahl in goals yesterday. Allen is getting more playing time now that Ohlund's out w/ a knee injury (YAY! Not that it's good for Ohlund cuz i'm a big fan of his). Allen's actually playing pretty well for the large increase in his playing time, from sitting in the press box and eating popcorn to about 14 min of ice time lol j/kj/kj/kj/kjkjj/jkj/j. All kidding aside, he has been playing pretty well and it's finally good to see that his patience and hard work is paying off.

HEHEHEHEH 2 guesses to who's underneath that gunk lol. Yup Allen got the pie as he sang his own rendition of jingle bells. I wasn't actually there (damn school and it's stupid finals) but i've been reading about it on the message board =) SUCKS TO BE HIM lol. Yup, I decided to update with something... well actually not really. There hasn't been much going on. Allen's played 2 games since my last update and I guess he's played ok ??? I can't say for certain cuz I haven't been watching and only listening =/ ... but i guess anytime you can get a topic on the canucks message board that says "Allen is god" it has to be good... right? lol. However that person couldn't spell his first name correctly so, ya i dunno. Andddddddd... leafs won 4-3 tonight against Portland................................. Leeb had another 2 goal night. He had one a couple days ago too. YAY! It was a nice win yesterday against the red wings HEH. I added 2 allen pics from a practice a couple days ago. He's still not playing and it's getting really annoying. I don't understand why they just couldn't rotate Malik and Allen PFFT. Yup, so they're sending him down to manitoba and will be calling him back up on sunday. Leafs lost bad yesterday 5-0 ... something like that. It's really hard to keep up w/ the leafs cuz listening on windows media player slows down my comp and it refuses to allow the screen saver to work. I know that wasn't a good excuse but ya... lol. Allen got sent down to play for 2 games. I really wish I could think right now but there aren't any major updates so... this is my big update for the site. I was looking around the moose site and came across a Cart Coin Keychain that has the moose logo on it. It's like this quarter shaped piece of metal which i guess you can use in those shopping carts. For some reason i'm really facinated by this lol but won't there be a problem with sticking the key into the cart to unlock the cart in front of it? I don't think there's enough room for that ring (the one that connects the quarter thingy and the actual ring to fit the keys on) to fit in between the key and the quarter huh?? ya?? lol i'm sorry i tried lol AND... what about the carts where you gotta stick a loonie in ?? I don't know what kinda of carts dominate the shopping areas in manitoba but in vancouver it's mainly loonies... sometimes toonies. However I think safeway still has those quarter ones. K well the nucks main training has started and well from what I hear it's pretty much that Bryan Allen is in the line up for the regular season. =) YAY! He had a good prospects camp and a better than average main camp so I guess so far so good. As for Brad Leeb, I have no clue what's going on over there. If someone would send me a heads up that would be much appreciated! There's a new article in the Toronto Sun section (thanks to the person who sent it... I'm thinking it was someone name Jay or along the lines of that so, thank you) It's not really about how Brad's progressing in training camp but it's a nice heartfelt (?) story to read. Uhhhh... oh and there is a new front page (or whatever you call that first page) as you can see. I'm trying SO hard not to put a big red cross over it but i'm TRYING. I guess i'll add a leaf thing up top soon. I would feel better if the leafs didn't succeed in any aspect of the game this season... HEEHEHEHE except if Brad's on the team then I would hafta rethink this. DAMN woulda just been nice if he didn't get traded. K done enough TO hatin for 5 min... must go post article. LATERZ! Life and irony go hand in hand eh =/ I put up some new articles and realized that the Toronto Star was already listed in the articles and DAMN. Maybe I should take out the Ottawa one eh... just to be on the safe side lol. Well prospects camp is going on @ 8 rinks in Burnaby and oddly enough they made Komarniski a winger... OK ?!?! Oh how life is so not fair... getting rid of one winger for a d-man and changing a d-man into a winger... eh, they did it to strudwick and he's gone too =( It's still unfair though... oh and if anyone has any news on how Brad is doing there over in TO please let me know cuz I find that the leafs site (I can't believe I actually went into a leafs site) isn't that informative/ informational =� Plus they either don't have a message board, I can't find it, or it doesn't work, which would confirm my theory (and the majority of the west coast fans) about the whole LEAFS SUCK movement. That made sense in my brain and that's all that counts lol j/kj/j/kjk/jk (not about the whole leafs suck thing though) I don't have a lot of time to change the actual layout of this site so Brad's not going to be apart of the leafs organization for a while LOL... actually he probably won't be until next season but by then hopefully he'll return to the canucks and i can leave the layout as it is =). Ok, well when reading my guestbook I found out that Carol Leeb (brad's mom) had passed away on the 30th. (thanks RDite for the info) No matter how many times one has been through this or how long one thinks about what to say there's never one perfect thing to say/do to make things better at that moment. I'm sorry, I'm never good w/ this kind of stuff... I guess I can speak on behalf of your fans, so here it goes... We're truly sorry for you loss. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and the rest of the Leeb family.

On another sad note, Brad got traded to the Leafs today for Tomas Mojzis from the WHL. Being a Canuck fan it's hard to become a leafs fan so I might have to change the site around a bit. I'm not sure what I'm going to do but if anyone has any ideas they can e-mail it to me =) I could leave it and make it a "what might have been" kinda thing. It would have been nice to see Brad make the nucks line up one day but as they say "things happen for a reason" but the almighty important one, from his mom, "Things will always work out in the end" ... so also on behalf of you fans we want to wish you (Brad Leeb =�) the best of luck in TO =) I'm sorry if that was kinda hard to understand but there ya go.

DUM DUM DUM... training camp officially starts on SETEMPER 13! There's going to be a prosepects game on September 9, 2002 which will feature Harold Druken, Bryan Allen, Mike Brown, Steve Kariya, Alex Auld, Zenith Komarniski, Jeff Farkas, Brad Leeb, Nolan Baumgartner, and Roman Obsut. So anyone in Coquitlam that day might want to go check it out!. As for the site, I might change the top logo and of course there will be some missing links and stuff like that. NO MORE SCHOOL UNTIL SEPT YAYAYAY. (which is NOT that far away) Well they didn't show "Canucks This Week" but it says on the sportsnet site that it's playing on aug. 25, 27, 28, and sept. 2. I'm not sure if they're going to show the exact same one on all those dates though. I'm also not sure about the whole new layout thing either. It's been sitting around but i'm seriously not liking it anymore and I may just end up sticking with the one I have now... any objections ?!?!? !?!?!! maybe eventually i'll put the new one up w/ some alterations.
