How to Apply
General Information
If you are in the UK
you can apply or enrol for most courses on this website either
on-line, by post, or by telephone. Which method you use depends
on the type of course you are applying for.
The ‘How to Apply'
paragraph on each course information page should tell you the
appropriate way to apply, giving any special instructions that
you need to follow other than those described in this section.
For some courses, including EIS,
ESOL, CELTA & other TEFL/TESOL, there are different application
arrangements - details of these are in the relevant course
information.
On-Line
You can only apply on-line for
Vocational Courses that require you to have an interview. The
‘Apply On-line' link will only appear on course
information pages where this is appropriate.
Note:
You should always read the ‘How to Apply' paragraph on the
course information page and if any special instructions are
given follow these rather than apply on-line.
By Post
You can apply by post for most
full-time and some part-time Vocational Courses (courses leading
to qualifications) using the
2010-2011 Application for Interview Form [PDF 312k] or you
can enrol for Adult and Community and many part-time courses
using the ASL Enrolment Form [PDF 80k] .
The ‘How to Apply'
paragraph on each course information page should tell you what
to do to apply.
By Telephone
You can only enrol by telephone
for Adult and Community courses, and only where you are not
eligible, or not claiming, a concessionary place (discounted
fee).
