REGIONALES USA
El pasado 20 de Mayo se disputaron en Estados Unidos los
esperadísimos Regionales, de formato Estándar.
En ellos no hubo mucha sorpresa,
algo a lo que nos tienen aconstumbrados los americanos, poco proclives a la
creación de barajas y, lo que es peor aun, empeñarse en jugar barajas que en el
resto del mundo se consideran poco eficientes.
Y es que es demasiado habitual
ver decenas de top 8 de mazos del tipo Magnivore, Izzetron, BWG control... que
en Europa no suelen obtener buenos resultados.
Quizás la única novedad sea una
baraja de control BW que por fin parece competitiva, ganadora de un regional,
pero desde luego no innovadora ni rompedora.
Pero la verdadera irrupción en el
formato es la del Gremio Simic, el único de los tres aparecidos en Disensión
que parece competitivo. Sin embargo sus resultados no han sido arrolladores,
aunque sí aportan un nuevo arquetipo al metagame. Esta baraja de agrocontrol
aportará mayor diversidad al formato.
