| As the background letters show, the initial request for the study was made by Dave Noyes to Congressman Zimmerman in 1998. After extensive correspondence and meetings the county and township authorized and split the cost of the study. In later discussions member(s) of the board indicated to Hyder to direct the study towards signal and lane improvements as opposed to new ramp(s). I remain convinced that new ramp(s) will need to be considered as a part of a long term remedy for the situation and hope that as the results of the study are examined that major improvements will again be considered. |
