As you are aware, this has been a problem intersection in need of repair forsome time.I have enclosed a copy of the West Earl Traffic Study for your engineers to review. Thisstudy was put together by Arrow, Inc. (Formerly Hyder North America). I have also included acopy of the application West Earl submitted to Lancaster County for a grant to help defray someof the cost associated with the improvements. The estimate to improve the intersection is set atS250,000. Any financial or construction assistance Penn DOT can offer would be greatlyappreciated.Thank you for considering this request. Patrick Barrett, West Earl Township Manager, isavailable on extension (717) 859-3201 if you or your engineers need additional information orfurther clarification.Sincerely,Noah W.
